Maddies' Sick babies

Drabble Prompt: Caretaking

Characters: Maddie, Sonic, Tails and Knuckles.

Maddie had taken care of sick kids before, Jojo had spend a whole week in their spare bedroom while she was sick with the flu one summer. Sick alien children was different

For example, normal medicine didn't always help, a note book labelled ‘kids medicine’ was now full of scribbled down notes about medicine doses and results and how each kid racted to them.

Or how their instincts would act up. With Sonic losing quills or pulling at them in sick indeed stress while not allowing anyone to touch him by curling into a ball. Tails curling up under his bed to hide and whining softly whenever he was left alone for too long, ears pinned back. Knuckles would hoard his brothers into his room, even occasionally growling if he felt particularly upset. 

What was the same though? The clingy cuddles on the sofa, bundling up a sleepy and sick kid in blankets and carrying them to bed, sleepless nights soothing a coughing fit or flue insides nightmare.

Wachowski bro shenanigans

Just a very short random stream of consciousness bit of Wachowski family bonding (below the cut)

“What’s going on here?” Tom asked with a smile as he and Maddie returned to the clearing where they’d had their picnic earlier in the day, Ozzie excitedly running up to nuzzle Sonic’s hand.

“Knuckles is training us in sneak attacks,” Sonic smirked, looking over at the red echidna standing on alert several feet away, “Well, he was. Now Tails is just trying to sneak up on him. This is attempt numero…ah, I lost count.”

Maddie and Tom exchanged a small smile and a shrug. Their boys played games ranging from totally normal to truly bizarre. This was pretty low on the bizarre scale, comparatively speaking.

There was a rustle in the trees up ahead, Knuckles looking sharply towards the sound, and another a few seconds later.

And then suddenly a bundle of orange fluff dropped down on top of him from the opposite direction, laughing with delight, “Haha! You’ve been snuck!”

“Oh no!” Knuckles cried dramatically, “I have indeed been snuck! I am dishonoured! I must have vengeance!”

He suddenly reached up and began to tickle Tails, making him giggle and fall off Knuckles onto the ground, where Knuckles continued to tickle the young fox.

“Nooo!” Tails gasped between laughs, “Sonic, help!”

Sonic broke into a grin, patting Ozzie on the head, “Sorry, Oz. I gotta go save my lil’ bro! Comin’ in hot!”

In a flash, he had tackled the echidna off Tails and the two proceeded to playfully wrestle each other. As always, Sonic didn’t use his full speed and Knuckles didn’t use his full strength, the two holding back just a bit less than they did with Tails.

The fox laughed, “Don’t worry! I’m gonna help!”

Who Tails was helping was a mystery. He mostly just seemed to intent on jumping on them both, or maybe going in for a group hug. Their youngest son really liked hugs.

Maddie smiled fondly, leaning into her husband and wrapping an arm around his waist.

She loved moments like these. No danger, nothing getting destroyed, none of them suffering from the anxieties and fears that came from the difficult pasts they’d all endured. Just her family, together, enjoying a day in the woods on a warm, sunny day.

“Come on, kids!” Tom called out over the ongoing game, “Gotta get going now if we wanna get to the store for popcorn before it closes.”

“Movie night with no popcorn?!” Sonic cried dramatically, “We gotta motor!”

“Yeah!” Tails laughed, flying up excitedly. Maddie was starting to think flying when he was happy was instinctive.

“The floor is lava!” Sonic yelled, jumping upwards, Tails automatically catching him.

“Deception!” Knuckles declared, and jumped up to grab Sonic’s ankles, drawing a yelp from both the fox and the hedgehog.

“Both of you? Really?” Tails muttered, breathless but amused.

“You said you wanted to work your tails out more,” Sonic replied, “Think I’m gonna be twice as tall by the time we get to the car.”

“And my arms are gonna be twice as long…”

“Are we even moving forward?” Knuckles teased, “I do not feel I am moving at all.”

“Maybe if you weren’t a million percent muscle…” Tails replied, then fell silent as he focused on the effort of carrying both his brothers at the same time.

He didn’t quite make it even halfway to the car before setting them gently down and collapsing, only for Knuckles to lift him up and carry him on his shoulders, declaring his effort to have been “Valiant for one so very small.”

“Feels like they’ve been brothers forever, doesn’t it?” Tom smiled fondly over at their kids, laughing together as Sonic ran a couple of rings around Knuckles and Tails.

“It really does,” Maddie slipped her hand into his, “They got used to it more quickly than I thought.”

“Is that a mark of our good parenting, or their adaptability?”

“Both?”

“I’ll take both.”

“Mom, dad! Who’s turn is it to pick the movie tonight?” Sonic called over as they approached the car.

“Knuckles!” Maddie called back, then at a more normal volume when they got to the kids, “Any thoughts on what you wanna watch, Knuckles?”

“Wade has informed me that I must watch the films of the Quentin Tarantino.”

Tom suppressed a grimace, “Uh…well, they’re probably up your street, but maybe not for family movie night.”

“They’re a bit too violent for an 8 year old,” Maddie added.

The kid had seen real life violence before, sure, but that didn’t mean he should have seen it. Or been part of it.

“It’s okay,” Tails piped up, hopping off Knuckles’ shoulders into the back of the truck, “I don’t mind going upstairs or to the garage to work on my inventions if Knuckles wants to watch one of those films.”

“No way, little bro!” Sonic jumped in after him, wrapping an arm around the kit’s shoulders, “It’s family movie night. That means all the family, you included. Knux can watch Tarantino films another time and pick something with less graphic violence for tonight. Like a Bond film or superhero movie…oooh! What about Pacific Rim? Got action, massive monster dudes, and giant robots! Trust me, Knux, you’ll love it! The fight scenes are awesome! And Tails will probably be taking notes on the mech stuff!”

“I accept the recommendation!” Knuckles declared, leaping into the truck to drape an arm around both the fox and hedgehog, making the kit laugh, his shame at being ‘too young’ for the first suggestion overcome by amusement, “Let us watch the rim of pacific!”

As she got into the car, Maddie caught the proud smile Tom gave Sonic at his quick thinking. Choosing a film that Knuckles would really enjoy, but that wouldn’t leave Tails out. Their first kid really had matured a lot in just a short space of time.

Sonic was really good at looking out for his brothers, and generally on point when it came to picking out games, TV and films that Tails and Knuckles would like, and Pacific Rim was no exception.

Knuckles sat forward on the couch and cheered or narrated through the fight sequences, while Tails’ features lit up with excitement at all the mechanical stuff, occasionally accompanied by a quiet exclamation of “Woah!” or “So cool!”

The kids went to bed chattering about the film, Sonic and Knuckles acting some of the fight moves of the robots on the way towards the attic, Tails musing about if the Jaegers could even work in real life.

“We might hafta put an upper size limit on his inventions,” Tom whispered, “Ideally before he builds a Jaeger.”

Not Alone For Christmas This Year

IDK why I wrote this but, happy holidays everyone. This was written at the last minute but basically Sonic is getting a family for the holidays...

Disclaimer I am not sure what their religion is and I do not own Sonic (both movie and video games), Tom Wachowski or Maddie Wachowski. They all belong to Sega And Paramount. Don't like don't read

Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house Not a creature was stirring, not even Sonic the Hedgehog, which was completely odd in the long run Because the kid is a whirlwind filled with talks and fun. However, when morning came, the young blue alien hedgehog was very excited and started to move. Back then, the winter holidays were always beautiful. And Sonic loved looking at the decorations around the town. However, he was alone during this time and had been for the past ten years. Every year, he would watch the Wachowskis celebrate and these are moments he somewhat resents. Because it was someone he wasn't a part of. But now, it is different because he wasn't alone for Christmas this year Then suddenly, he heard Maddie and Tom yelled, "Sonic, it's time for presents Hearing his adoptive parents made him bounce out of bed. Heading downstairs, Maddie and Tom have warm, welcoming smiles on their faces. Sonic ran down and yelled "Merry Christmas!" Soon, his parents joined in as well. Ozzie then came running, giving his hedgehog kisses that were so dubbed "very gross" but with a laugh. Maddie and Tom ran to Sonic, smiling at their boy. "Merry Christmas, bud," Tom said.

They guided him to the tree, where the presents were piled up. They each exchanged gifts; Sonic had bought makeup, fancy nail polish, and a book gift card for Maddie and gave Tom a new fishing hat, shirt, and a gift card to the local donut shop. And to Sonic' loved's amazement, his parents bought him socks, a new hat (like father, like son), and another set of boots. "This is great guys," Sonic admitted. “Wait,” Maddie said with a smile. She quickly rushed over to the nearby table and came back, with an envelope in hand. Her smile was bigger and Tom knew that it was the same one that Maddie had when she gave him his acceptance letter. “There’s still one more present to take care of, buddy,” Tom said as Sonic gave his caretakers suspicious looks.

Sonic took the envelope and tore out a certificate. Written in big letters, it says...

This certifies that Sonic Wachowski has officially been adopted by Tom and Maddie Wachowski December 15, 2020.

"You don't mean..." Sonic said. "It's exactly what it means, Sonic Wachowski," Maddie said with a dolly. "Yeah, it's official," Tom said with a smile. The boy started crying tears of joy.  Sonic stammered. "But I've always been..." "Of course you had kid. We just had to make it official. Welcome into the family, Sonic." "Come on, bring in a hug." "I'm too old for that, Donut Lord!" Sonic yelped. "You're never too old for a hug!* Tom said and he hugged the little hedgehog, much to his protest. Meanwhile, Maddie couldn't help it; she scooped Sonic up and smothered him with a hug. Sonic smiled, even though he tried acting mature for his hug. Now he knew there were presents underneath the tree, But this Adoption and parents’ hugs, were the best ones he ever had. Because now, he was not alone for Christmas this year.

Summary:

Shadow returns to earth, missing his memories save for his name and a gruesome flashback of the death of someone named Maria. Sonic finds him, wandering a forest in New York, and in true Sonic fashion, brings Shadow home to help him recover his memories. That receives a mixed reception from his family, but ultimately, they all come to realize this could be the chance to give Shadow the life he never got to have since he landed on Earth over fifty years ago.  Unfortunately, as usual, nothing could be that simple for the Wachowskis. A dark entity has been watching Shadow’s progress from afar, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. Will the darkness Shadow was born with outweigh what he feels for the light that is Sonic the Hedgehog?  Can love save the day, and more importantly, the world?

Notes: Well, I have fallen down the hedgehog hole of being obsessed with Sonic and Shadow. When I saw the Month of Sonadow challenge (by @/DailySonadow on Twitter) shared here on Tumblr by artists, I couldn't resist writing a fic.

I know I'm LATE, but technically I've started posting in February, so it counts! Originally it was going to be a series of drabbles, instead it turned into this 28 chapter fic about Sonic and Shadow falling in love. Each chapter adheres to its corresponding daily prompt while telling a cohesive story.

Maddie will requested Tails attention when he made a grumpy face and look away, sometimes for a non particular reason (or if he's hiding someting) and that end up with a fluffy cuddle. She's doing that with Knuckles and Sonic too but that end in a different way.

At first I thought this was a headcanon you were telling me, which I believe it is(?) but upon thinking it over, I decided "ooh that could be a cute little drabble focusing on Maddie and Tails" and then this little one shot was created. At least it wasn't a angsty idea this time 😅

If it seems messy, it probably is because I literally wrote majority of this in the span of a day with very little editing, so fair warning.

"Tails? Tails, can you please look at me?" Her voice was close on the verge of exasperation as she stood underneath the door frame leading into the living room, seeing the fox’s ears turn towards her but he still didn't look in her direction and wrapped his arms tighter around his legs, scooting back until his back hit the corner of the couch and buried his head tucked between his legs and arms.

Maddie took a deep inhale and let out a slow exhale, so it was one of those days huh? But now it was with the kid who does this sort of thing the least of the 3 boys and she didn’t even know how to handle it.

The youngest member had sunken into this state after Tom and her had to tell him to do something else other than working on his gadgetry up in the garage. After the 3rd attempt of telling him however, Tom took matters into his own hands and gathered up most of them that were scattered around the house and locked them in the garage until further notice, after making sure the kid didn't have an electronic device for unlocking doors or locks he could use.

Of course, the decision didn't go well and it lead to some talking back and forth until Tails gave up and went into his current state, to where even Sonic attempting to lift his spirits didn't even work.

Afterwards, Tom had taken off for an emergency call while Sonic and Knuckles had volunteered to help and went with him, Tails didn't even move so that left Maddie at the house with a now quiet, moody 8 year old who probably thinks she is the most evil person to ever exist, which definitely isn't the case but the point still stands.

The last thing she wanted to do is to get on his case again about the way he was acting, telling him to knock it off and to suck it up like any other kid that would act this way, but she knew that it wouldn't help anyway.

Compared to Sonic, who had stayed with them for a time before he had a mood swing like this, she still didn't know him, know him well enough to see his full personality, his many likes and dislikes, the way he deals with situations like this, for all she knew he could be acting like this due to him never dealing with this before, which was all the more reason why she didn't want to be too hard on him.

Oh well, like her dad had always told her, it doesn't hurt to try to step into unknown circumstances.

Maddie idly walked towards the couch and sat on the far end, seeing Tails' head lift up at her from the corner of her eye before seeing one of his eyes peek out at her. Crossing her legs, she pretended to not look in his direction, instead going to grab the remote to the TV and turning it on.

She kept her attention on the screen while she heard him shuffling and felt the cushions dip as he moved around. After a moment, she peeked over to expect him to be in the same place but was almost spooked to see him sitting so close to her that their knees were almost touching. He kept his head down and kept his hands on his knees as he sat on the edge of the cushion, Maddie watched as his body started to become more tense, his shoulders scrunched up closer to his neck while his hands gripped at his knees and tails twitched in sync.

She began to reach out but stopped as he whipped his head up, eyes wide. "I'm sorry!"

Maddie blinked at the sudden change of disposition, listening intently as he continued. "I'm so sorry that made you and Tom be mad at me! I understand why you guys took my machines away, I was going to but...I just felt so mad that you took it without just letting me do it on my own first!" Tails paused, his voice becoming shaky.

“I didn't want to be mad at you and I didn't want to take it out on you guys which is why I was so quiet this whole time. I just....I didn't want to mess anything else up after that." He finishes as bows down his head away from her, rubbing his eyes at what she knew was unshed tears.

Maddie could feel her heart practically break hearing him just talk a mile a minute to her in such a way. She knew that he could have felt a little bad with what happened, but she didn't expect it was getting to him this much. What he said next however, she wasn't even prepared to hear come out of his mouth.

"...please don't make me leave. I promise I won't do it anymore. I won't do it again, please."

At that moment, whether it was her inner instincts or something else entirely, all she knew was that this kid, regardless of him being an alien from another world, was still a kid. A kid just like Sonic is and needed her more than ever right now.

Without a second thought, she slowly wrapped her arms around his small frame, scooping him up in a secure yet gentle hold and placing him on her lap, nuzzling her chin in between his ears and holding a hand behind his head.

Tails tensed up at the sudden action, his whole body froze up as if he were lost all memory fucntions of his limbs and could only be very still. He shut his eyes tightly and braced for any next action she might do, she hasn't said anything after he gave his statement and could only imagine what emotionally damaging words she could throw at him while having him in her arms. After all, it hasn't been the first time it's happened....

A soft hand touching his back made him flinch violently, the fingers of the hand stilled against the middle of his back for a few moments before feeling the palm gently caressing and moving up and down. It moved in a motion he'd reconize but had only felt once in his short eight years of life, at least from what he could remember.

It made him feel safe, safe to where nothing was going to hurt or get to him, not even the person who was currently initiating the gesture. He quickly gripped onto one of her arms, his sniffling quickly turning into muffled crying as he buried his face into the fabric of her shirt. He wasn’t sure why he was reacting this way, but he couldn't stop it as soon as it bubbled up and overflowed like a stopped up drain.

As she held him, she took notice of the weight she felt in her arms. He was so light, he felt so small, smaller than she originally expected him to be upon first glance, she could practically feel the trembling coming from his tiny body so much that she was worried that he would end up having a panic attack. Maddie continued to rub his back and rocked her body back and forth, trying to calm him down.

"Okay, hey. Hey, I need you to breathe with me Tails, okay? Just stop and take a breath, can you do that for me?” She felt him nod slightly and he slowly pulled away, his now red eyed, tear stained face looking up at her, still trembling. “Just copy what I do, breathe in,” She took a slow inhale. “Then exhale.” Slow exhale out.

She continued as Tails copied her with shaky breathing till his trembling subsidies and his breathing becomes normal, he leans into her embrace as she continues to hold him, he continued to hold onto her arm while she began to stroke her hand between the fuzz of his ears, a similar notion that she would use on Sonic whenever he would need help calming down.

Once his breathing became more steady, she wiped the tears from his eyes and kept her hand on his back, letting him catch his breath. “Tails…why do you think we would make you leave?”

The fox let out a sniffle, wiping at one of his eyes again and bowing down his head. “Because of the way I was acting, because I didn’t listen to you after you told me to go outside. I…thought you and Tom would kick me out afterwards because of how I was behaving.”

Maddie brought a hand to his chin and lifted up his head. “Sweetie, just because we had a small disagreement doesn’t mean that we would make you leave. We were more than elated knowing that you and Knuckles wanted to stay with us, Sonic was even more than excited.”

“But, you guys looked so mad before,” Tails interrupted. “And I heard Tom say to Sonic that if he keeps misbehaving that you both will throw him out out of the house, I'd thought you would do the same to me."

Maddie laughed softly, shaking her head. "That’s what he says to him every other week, he doesn't actually mean that. Tom says that because Sonic is always all over the place and we can never keep up with that hyper personality of his." She joked lightly, feeling the tension ease up as Tails giggled along with her.

"Trust me when I say that if we were able to put up with him, then we can definitely put up with whatever you and Knuckles can throw at us, even with the small things."

"Really?" He said with a bit of uncertainty.

"Yes," She adjusted her hold and clasped his shoulders, giving him a mocking glare. "Sooo, next time when we say it's time to take a break from the electronics, it's time to take a break from them. Okay? No more of this Mr. Pouty Grumpy face thing going on or I'll have to go "bad cop" on you."

Maddie finishes by quickly scribbling her fingers against his neck, he scrunched up his shoulders and a stream of giggles poured out as he batted her hands away. She laughs along with him and a few moments of quiet pass by, only the sound if the TV still playing filling the silence.

"So, do you feel a bit better now?"

He gave a nod. "A little."

"Good." She lifted Tails off her lap and checked her watch. "Well, it's been a bit but you still need to have some time off the gadgets for now. Just until the hour's up."

Tails let out deep sigh but decided to agree to the terms. "Okay."

"If you want, we have some books and puzzles stored away that you might find fun to pass the time. There's plenty of books here since Sonic finishes them so quickly."

Tails' ears perked up at the offer. "Ooh, yes please."

"Okay, I'll be right back." She got up from the couch, walking only a few steps before a small tug on her pant leg stopped her. She saw Tails, still holding onto her leg, his voice sounding timid.

"Uh, Miss Maddie?"

"Hmm?"

"Um....can you just..." he struggled to find words, refusing to look at Maddie in the eyes and fiddled with his fingers. She gently laid a hand at the top of his head, making him pause.

"It's okay, go ahead."

"Can....you give me another hug?" he asked shyly, she could see his cheeks turning red and looked up at her, awaiting an answer.

She didn't question him, she simply smiled and held out her arms to him. He jumped back onto them, wrapping his arms around her neck, noticeably squeezing harder, as if she would dissappear if he let go. Maddie ran hand on the back of his head reassuringly, feeling his grip loosen a bit as she adjusted her hold. "You sure you’re okay?"

A small wag from his double appendages appendages answered her question. "Yeah, I'm much better actually."

One shot based on Headcanon: Wachowski watches Annie 1982 before the events of movie 1

Tonight is the night because tonight is Sonic's favorite kind of night because Donut Lord and Pretzel Lady are having a movie night. Sonic was eagerly waiting outside the window where the living room is positioned, eagerly bouncing up and down. "Please be Speed. Please be Speed." he wished quietly. Speed is Sonic's favorite movie ever since the first movie night and whenever it's on he would silently be happy that it was chosen but tonight was different.

Donut Lord and Pretzel Lady have decided to put on another movie that isn't Speed. Instead they put on a different movie which looked a bit older than speed and it seemed to be an entirely different genre.

Sonic was confused. Speed is one of the greatest movies ever according to the blue blur so why did they put on an entirely different movie instead? He watched by the window in disappointment and then he heard the first few words that came from the TV, though a bit muffled because of the lack of open windows or doors.

It was a young girl singing, "The sun will come out tomorrow. Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow, there'll be sun." and from that point on his full attention was on the screen. Even though it's not like movies like Speed, Sonic can't pull himself away. He was too curious. Then he caught a glimpse of the movie's title, 'Annie'. As the opening credits came to an end, Sonic wondered what's gonna happen next. He was hoping for something exciting or something.

What he wasn't expecting was to tear up right away. When the little curly redheaded girl's words came on screen, he started to cry a bit silently.

Then those words came "Betcha he reads, betcha she sews. Maybe she's made me a closet of clothes. Maybe they're strict, as straight as a line. Don't really care as long as they're mine." Sonic wiped his tears with his arm. He felt a bit sad. He wanted to stop watching but then the girl's song was interrupted by the sound of the door opening.

After the movie, Sonic walked back to his cave. He could just run like he normally did but he just wanted to walk this time. As he walked within the thick woods to his cave he began to sing, "Betcha he reads, betcha she sews. Maybe she's made me a closet of clothes. Maybe they're strict as straight as a line. Don't really care as long as they're mine." as Sonic approached the entrance of his cave he looked back to the direction he came from. He wondered what would happen if he was found out. Maybe it would be better than he thought. Maybe he would've had a family. Maybe he didn't have to hide anymore. He goes back inside his cave as he sings "So maybe now this prayer's the last one of its kind. Won't you please come get your baby." he looks at the bag of rings sadly. "Maybe…"

::Sonadilver Movie!Verse;Sleepy::

The three hedgehogs are all curled up on the couch with blankets together in the living room, having a little movie marathon while Tom and Maddie were at work. The wind whistled outside the window as the snow began to pile up outside. The three had all sorts of snacks, Silver and Sonic having two cups of hot cocoa to drink. Well...Sonic wasn't really drinking his. The blue hedgehog hands were cupped around the mug gently, his head slowly dipping down as he breathed softly. "...Sonic?"

The voice catches him off guard, and he jolts back up, his eyes flashing a bright blue. "Ow!" Silver yelped softly, rubbing his arm. "You shocked me…" He grumbles out softly, Sonic's ears pulling back nervously. "S-Sorry...You surprised me…" He trails off, putting the mug onto the coffee table before he ends up spilling it everywhere. "You look exhausted." Shadow chimed in, casually eating his popcorn. "Huh? O-Oh...Yeah…I-It's 'cause it's cold out." Sonic shrugs. That was only half true. Sure they all tended to get a bit sluggish during the winter...but that's not why he was tired. He had an awful nightmare last night. But...he didn't want to talk about it. It'd only worry them.

"That doesn't explain why you look like you're about to pass out, you know." Silver said, sipping from his mug. "I...uh..W-Well…" Sonic trails off, gently rubbing his eyes. I can't tell them! They'll just get worried...I'm fine! I'm fine…Both of them were looking at Sonic now, the movie no longer being the center of attention. "You can tell us what's wrong, Sonic." Shadow puts a hand on the blue hedgehogs shoulder. Immediately he feels his face get warm. "It's fine! I...I just...couldn't sleep last night because…" He doesn't finish the sentence, which prompted Silver to gently hold his hand. Oh geez. "Because…?"

"...Because...I..I had a bad dream..okay??" Sonic finally admits, shutting his eyes as if he were trying to brace for something. "What? Why didn't you wake us up??" The concern in Shadow's voice was clear, as well as a hint of annoyance. It made Sonic’s heart thump loudly in his chest. "Yeah! You know you can always wake us up, Sonic!" He knew. In fact, that had a whole system. All three of them had nightmares, Shadow especially. So they told each other that whenever they had a nightmare they were allowed to wake one of them up and climb into their bed, so that they didn't have to be alone. But this time, Sonic couldn’t bring himself to even get out of bed. He didn't want to bother them.

"I..I dunno…" He mumbles out softly. That was a lie, all of them knew it was. "Look...I don't wanna talk about it now. Let's just watch the movie." Sonic pulls the blanket around him closer to himself. The two didn't protest. They didn't want to push him. So...they continued to watch the movie. Though things were a lot more awkward and tense now. Sonic could feel his heart beating in his chest. Suddenly...his brain was telling him that they were...sitting so close to him…Yes! I know that!! Obviously!! W...Why does it suddenly feel so different…? Sonic quickly noticed that...they hadn't pull away from him either. Silver still held his hand, a Shadow's hand had slowly drifted from his shoulder to do the same. Both his hands were being held now. He felt his face get hot once again. Stop it, brain! It's not a big deal!! Stop freaking out!!! W-Why do you keep thinking like this??!

Sonic's nose suddenly twitches a bit. Urgh...Tired...He tongue pokes out from his mouth lazily. The two other hedgehog glance over at him curiously. "Hm…?" Sonic’s sticks his tongue out a bit further...before finally he lets out a long, sleepy yawn. Immediately the two hedgehogs eyes widen, though Sonic seems a bit to drowsy to notice. Both Silver and Shadow quickly look away. 

What...was that…?

WHAT WAS THAT??!?

He yawned...I-It was just a yawn...

He yawned you idiot!! What else would it be?!

I've never really seen him so tired…I don’t think I've ever even seen him yawn...

I guess he really didn’t get any sleep.. I've never actually seen him yawn before.

It was...kinda..cute...

No, no! Don't think though thoughts!! Stupid brain...Why won't they go away…?

Oh chaos...He's our friend! Don't be weird!!...It's starting to get harder to ignore...

It wasn't cute...it just caught me off guard is all.

While those two were internally freaking out separately to themselves...Sonic...well...he'd fallen asleep. It looks sorta uncomfortable though. Shadow glances over at Sonic...only to see that he's fast asleep, mumbling incoherently. He smiles to himself, gently squeezing at Sonic’s hand...when he sees Silver gently pull the blanket off of Sonic, gently laying him back into a more comfortable sleeping position.

After a moment of hesitation, he lays down and snuggles up close to Sonic, gently closing his eyes as he covers both of them with their blankets. Shadow's face was probably a bright red, thankfully no one was around to see it though. His heart felt like it would burst out from his chest, and like his stomach just tied itself into a tight knot. God...damn it. He curiously stared down at the two for a moment, Silver seeming to drift off in just a few minutes. They’re so...cute...Happy now? I...I admitted it...to..myself. Shadow grumbles softly to himself. They looked so comfy...With a defeated sigh, he slowly snuggles himself into Sonic’s other side, placing his blanket onto them both. After a moment, he felt Sonic shift positions...gently leaning his head against Shadow's.

"Geez. I didn't expect it to snow so much. Surprised I was able to make it home at all." Tom called out as he closes the front door, shivering a bit. He eagerly greets Ozzy as he excitedly runs up to him...but..Maddie doesn't say anything. "Maddie?" He calls out curiously, slipping off his coat as he steps into the living room, when he's stopped by Maddie's hand. "Huh? Maddie wh-" She quickly shushes him, the biggest smile on her face as she points over at the couch. "...?" He looks over...to see Sonic, Shadow and Silver in what looked to be a little hedgehog snuggle pile on the couch. "Huh…" He smiles a bit to himself. They really did care for each other...heh..I wonder how long it'll take them to catch on...

Sonic builds a grave

Drabble Prompt: Grief

Not long after arriving on earth Sonic made a small grave stone pile by his old cave for longclaw, made in a similar way to the ones he had briefly seen in the village.

When he moved into the Wachowski house he kept going back to visit, leaving fresh flowers on the grave and talking about his new home with his first mother with a sense of guilt and worry that he might be replacing her.

Eventually Tom and Maddie asked where he was going and he shyly brought them along. Maddie was very moved and helped him clean it up and even bought sunflowers to grow by the grave. Tom sat down and talked about how he promised to look after Sonic and protect him as well as Longclaw had.

The Blue devils :The loudest movie night

So I posted this first on the lovely @tharkflark1‘s Discord  Its thanks to them that we have the awesomeness that is The Blue Devils

This little drabble was based off an idea I got one night thinking abt these lovely boys but the characters are from Tharks The blue devils AU Buck: Modern Sonic Scarfz: Boom Sonic BB: Classic Sonic Wachowski : Movie Sonic

The gang come over for a movie night and ends up with something else entirely. Chaos ensues

So all the  blue devils are over the Wachowski's for Movie night. Having just finished dinner the blue gang have moved to the living room (Trying to) picking out a movie. Tom and Maddie hang back in the kitchen to finish cleaning up.

(Scarfz and Movie asked to help but were told to go and have fun while they stay and clean) Tom is washing the dishes, Maddie sitting at the table drinking some tea humming  Tom gets finished with the dishes drys his hands and joins his wife at the table a comfortable silence falling over them; only broken by the sound of the kids in the living room and Maddie's soft humming Tom  begins to let his mind drift to the memories of the boys and their little family adventures. He recalls the most recent one : the Sonics turning into little (big if ur counting Scarfz which he allways did)  Werehogs.

Then he gets an idea. Smirk/smiling widely he nudges Maddies arm "Hey Mads?" "Hmm?" She looks up to find a trouble causing look on her husbands face "Oh no, I know that look!" " Tom what are you planing?" Maddie says cocking her brow "Watch this " Tom says with a grin Throwing his head back Tom lets out an  "AhhhhhooooOOO" The other room falls silent Then a high pitch  "Ahhhhoooooooooo" Is heard

Muffled voices start to run together in the other room. Tom and Maddie strain to hear  Scarfz: "St stoop Whachowski, you will start a howl!" Maddie covers her mouth to try to keep her self from laughing Tom is trying so hard not to lose it  The desperation in his voice!

He quickly sobers taking a deep breath he lets out another perfectly timed "AhhhoooooOOO!" And is joined again by Wachowski ”Ahhhhoooooooo” Scarfz: "stop it!" "I mean it Whachowski!" Wachowski: "But I didn’t start it!?" Another "AhhhhooooOOO" is heard and this time joined by Wachowski 

Buck who was laughing in the corner of the couch only moment before breaking into a howl of his own. Buck: AHHhhhwoooooooOO!!

Diverting between howling and laughing. Scarfz: “E tu!?” "Buck, come on!!!" "guys!!" Maddie is cackling!! Tom is dying!banging his fist on the table! They are both in tears wheezing when a little voice joins in. Barely notice able above the chaos. BB: “ahhhwoooooo!!!” Scarfz :groans in fustration "Guys!" “Guys, pl...please!” ”Stop”

Then out of the midst of all the noise a deep loud howl rises up.  "AHWOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!"  Shaking the house, then everything falls silent.

Tom and Maddie burst into the living room to find all four Sonic’s staring in shock and awe at Scarfs. Who looks like he wanted to craw under a rock and die! Muzzle turning a bright shade of pink.  The tension is thick in the room.  Maddie and Tom look between the blue devils with smiles growing rapidly on their and the the three younger Sonic’s faces. Scarfz: ."...uh?" "Guys?" Then all CHAOS BREAKS LOSE TOM AND MADDIE FALL TO THE GROUND LAUGHING TEARS FLOWING FROM THEIR EYES ROLLING ON THE FLOOR WACHOWSKI STARTS ANOTHER HOWL JUST TO SPITE SCARFZ

 (staring him strait in the face as he belts one out)  AND THE WHOLE GANG ERUPTS INTO A SYMPHONY OF HOWLS AND LAUGHS! Wachowski:” Ahhhhoooooooo ”

Modern:” AHHhhhwoooooooOO ”

BB:” ahhhwoooooo ”

Scarfz: “ AHWOOOOOOOOOO ” Then Ozze walks in and joins the fun.  The whole town can hear the family having a big loud howling party. Well So much for movie night

-Post-movie, Sonic and his apparent electricity powers, possibly a cute thing with static electricity or blacking out just the Wachowski house

-Definitely something with younger Sonic snooping around Green Hills

-Sonic getting to talk to real kids his age

-I saw a post about Sonic getting overprotective of Tom if he ever gets hurt because it reminds him of Longclaw and that’s good, I’ll have to find the post.
